KDP forces assisted Turkey in its Claw-Lock operation in Kurdistan region

The Turkish Star newspaper reported that Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) had assisted Turkish armed forces in their operation against the PKK in the Kurdistan region.
The KDP helped the Turkish army block various ways leading to the PKK headquarters in Qandil's mountainous region in the recent Turkish military operation against the PKK, which lasted six days. The paper wrote, "Barzani's help was secured," the pro-AKP Turkish newspaper, Star, reported today.
The KDP controls the security forces of the Erbil and Dohuk provinces of the Kurdistan region. The party enjoys strong relations with Turkey, putting it on bad terms with the PKK.
